Ukraine’s Ambassador to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko says it is in the “interest of Australians” for Ukraine to win its war against Russia.
He said Ukraine winning the war would help energy and electricity prices “back to normal”.
“Of course, there are other issues relating to Australian values, fundamental values such as democracy, freedom of press, freedom of speech – this is what we are out there defending in Europe at this time,” he told Sky News Australia.
