In India, Garrett has excellent opportunities for students through its internship program for nearly 30 interns across different functions of the company – Technical, Supply Base, Supply Chain, Customer Management, IT, and Computer science.
Interns join Garrett from leading colleges and educational institutes such as Symbiosis, Centre for Management and Human Resource Development and College of Engineering Pune, Velammal Engineering College in Madurai, and NITK Surathkal in Karnataka.
“Continuous learning is an important pillar of Garrett’s work culture and our experts have always been valuable and strong mentors to the next generation,” said Beena Dixit, HR Director – India, Japan and Korea. “Through the programs, interns will be able to connect theoretical knowledge with practical responsibilities in their areas of interest. This is deeply rooted in Garrett’s commitment to nurturing talent and supporting people to nourish their future.”
Garrett’s mentors offer on-the-job training through live projects with our teams and there are various ongoing assessments during the internship period. Also, a pre-placement offer is given to deserving interns who will join Garrett as Graduate Engineering Trainees (GETs).

What do interns get at the end of the internship?
Students can challenge themselves by finding the best solutions to achieve goals while working with real business scenarios through internships that unfold over a period of two to six months.
During the internships, Garrett’s mentors thoughtfully guided students to develop their own end-to-end projects. They are encouraged to take ownership, find solutions to overcome challenges, and define tactics to meet goals.
