A NORTHERN Diamonds star has announced that she will be using her married name moving forward.
Nat Sciver-Brunt, formerly Nat Sciver, has announced that she will now be using her married name on the cricket field.
Married to former Northern Diamonds cricketer Katherine Brunt, both England internationals have revealed that they will both be using their married names.
The pair tied the knot in May 2022 but opted not to carry their new names over to cricket, but have since changed their decision.
England vice-captain Nat Sciver-Brunt was named as ICC Women’s Cricketer of the year for 2022 last week, after an incredible 12 months.
Both Sciver-Brunt’s were included in England’s squad for Monday’s T20 World Cup warm-up victory over New Zealand, before the news was announced by the team’s Twitter account.
England’s official twitter account said: “Two new names on the scorecard!
“Our all-rounders will go by their married name moving forward – introducing the Sciver-Brunts.”
