Injured again Bumrah will miss out the first two tests while Ravindra Jadeja has been included subject to a fitness test. Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav has been recalled in the Test Squad. The No 1 T20 batter was included in India’s Test squad for England tour but did not make his debut. The New Zealand series, starting with the first ODI on January 18 in Hyderabad, will comprise 3 ODIs and T20Is each.
The first Test against Australia will be played at Nagpur from February 9-13, while the second Test will be held at Delhi from Feb 17-21.
Currently, the selectors are busy watching the fifth round of Ranji Trophy matches at various venues around the country.
