Founder of the National Grandparent Movement Ian Barnett says he believes society has “left grandparents behind”.
“They think that once you turn even 50 you don’t have a voice or anything to say, and that’s not true,” he told Sky News host Kel Richards.
“Grandkids possibly will share things with their grandparents they may not share with their parents, which is a growing trend.”
