A Russian woman living in Broome is pleading with Immigration Minister Andrew Giles to prevent her deportation to Russia.
Ludmila Kovaleva fled to Australia more than a decade ago after her family spoke out against corruption in Russia’s government.
For 12 years her asylum applications have been refused.
She fears she will be sent to prison or killed if she returns to Russia when her visa expires.
