Indonesia's Parliament has passed a long-awaited and controversial revision of its penal code that criminalises extramarital sex and applies to citizens and visiting foreigners – such as Australians to Bali – alike.
A copy of the amended criminal code obtained by The Associated Press includes several revised articles that make sex outside marriage punishable by a year in jail and cohabitation by six months.

Two children have gone missing from the Perth suburb of Carlisle.
WA Police are searching for two boys, aged three and eight.
The pair were seen heading northeast on Cohn Street in Carlisle about 7.50am.
The three-year-old is about 80cm tall, of slim build with golden curly hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and brown shorts.
The boy aged eight is approximately 130cm tall, of slim build with short dark hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and dark blue shorts, carrying a leopard print blanket.
Anybody who sees them should contact police and stay with them.
