Sky News host Peta Credlin says just about everything can be celebrated at the Australian Open “except Australia itself” after its refusal to mark Australia Day.
“This is a tournament that’s already held a First Nations Day last week and will hold a Pride Day this Friday for LGTB+ Australians, but won’t mark Australia Day because it says, ‘there are differing views’,” she said.
