The Saturday Morning Northern Cluster Grassroots Cricket Development Program commenced its 2023 programming on January 28 at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground.
The activities took the following format:
* Prayers/ Welcome/ Introductions etc.
* Catching/ Fielding drills and exercises.
* Nets.
* Introduction to hard ball with younger participants including Fielding, Catching and Batting age group 4-10 years.
The coaches who conducted the training session were; Allian Ashby and Malika Edward. The logistical support was arranged by Roseline Preville.
The Northern Cluster Grassroots/ Ministry of Youth Development and Sports/ Gros Islet Community After-school Cricket Training Program continued on Friday, January 27, 2023 with a beach recovery session at the Reduit Beach.
