On Saturday morning, a 5.3-magnitude earthquake shook the Kathmandu Valley and other areas of central Nepal.
Officials stated that there were no reports of injuries or damage.
The epicentre of the 5.3-magnitude earthquake, which occurred at 5:26 am, was in the Nuwakot district’s Belkot Gadhi, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre.
A devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal in April 2015 left about 9,000 people dead and nearly 22,000 injured.
Over 800,000 homes and school buildings were also damaged.

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), India’s biggest company by market capitalisation, reported a 13% drop in consolidated profit for the third quarter on the back of weak oil-to-chemicals performance, which was partly offset by growth in the consumer businesses.
