Law schools across the U.S. are updating their curriculum to offer programs specializing in cybersecurity. Many look to not only train future legal professionals on the privacy and cybersecurity frameworks, but also boost their technological competence as well.

Cybersecurity and Privacy
In recent years, cybersecurity has become one of the busiest areas of law, as companies have had to navigate rapidly changing regulations, as well as a spike in cyberattacks. And going forward, cybersecurity is likely to remain among the highest priorities in all organizations—including the law firms that counsel them.
But amid the rise in demand for cybersecurity services, the market has also suffered from a shortage of skilled talent. As a response, some law schools have adapted their curriculum to account for the need for legal professionals trained in cybersecurity issues.
