—
The City of West Hollywood will resume teleconference meetings during January and February 2023 for the City’s Commissions and Advisory Boards due to the uptick in COVID-19 cases throughout the region in an effort to prioritize community health and public safety.
On December 9, 2022, Los Angeles County moved into the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) High Community Level due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in the County. This prompted Public Health officials to ask all LA County residents to take sensible health precautions including indoor masking as well as staying up-to-date on vaccinations and boosters. Despite fluctuating case rates, as measured on a day-by-day basis, community transmission remains high and Public Health officials are concerned about emerging COVID-19 variants.
The City has nine Commissions and six Advisory Boards, all of which have regular public meetings. Details about Commissions and Advisory Boards, including links to upcoming meeting agendas, are available on the City’s website at www.weho.org/agendas. Information about public meetings and events is available by visiting the City Calendar posted on the City’s website at www.weho.org/calendar.
West Hollywood City Council meetings will remain in-person at this time at the City’s Council Chambers/Public Meeting Room, located at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard. Meetings may be viewed on various platforms; please visit the City’s website at www.weho.org/wehotv for viewing options, which include YouTube at www.youtube.com/wehotv, Spectrum Channel 10 in West Hollywood, and SmartTV Apps: AndroidTV; AppleTV; FireTV; and Roku. People who wish to provide public comment for City Council meetings may do so in writing or by calling-in; please visit the City’s website at www.weho.org/councilagendas for details, which are provided on each City Council meeting agenda.
The City of West Hollywood remains in a declared local emergency in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. West Hollywood City Hall is open for walk-in services at public counters or by appointment by visiting www.weho.org/appointments. City Hall services are accessible by phone at (323) 848-6400 and via website at www.weho.org.
